Trail Format for 2009
1) Trail Profile:
a. The NEBA of NH 2009 Trail will consist of 5 trail events 1 open and TOC
Trail # 1 May 10 Winnisquam
Trail # 2 June 21 Ossipee Lake
Trail # 3 July 12 Ct River, Charlestown (no boats allowed beyond the
Cornish Winsdor Bridge)
OPEN August 2 Winnipesaukee
Trail # 4 August 16 Winnipesaukee
Trail # 5 September 13 Squam
TOC (see # 5) Oct.3-4 Conway
b. Only “full-time” ( Minimum 4 Trail Events) Trail participants can Qualify for the 2009
Tournament of Champions to be Held October 3-4 on Conway Lake
c. Qualification for the TOC will be based on the point total from a team’s 4 best Trail finishes.
d. Teams fishing all 5 Trail Events will be allowed to drop their lowest point total from one Trail
Event.
e. The 2009 Trail Point Championship will be awarded to the team with the highest 4 Trail
Event point total. This team will be awarded free entry into all 5 Trail Events for the 2009
season.
f. All boaters must submit proof of liability insurance ( $300,000 minimum ) prior to the start of
the 2009 trail or first tournament attended.
2) Trail Fee’s:
a. The NEBA of NH 2009 Trail fee will be $125.00 per event. ( $100 towards payout of Trail
Event and $25.00 towards TOC payout )
b. Team Members must be paid members of NEBA to fish any Trail event. Dues may be paid
anytime prior to first event team chooses to fish.(Day of event OK)
c. The initial Trail Roster will be set as of April 15, 2008. Registrations received after that date
will be accepted, however, NEBA would appreciate teams paying dues and for events you
know you will be fishing in advance of April 15th for budgetary and planning reasons.
d. At any trail event teams may sign up to fish the day of the event. Dues must be paid at that
time if not paid previously and copy of insurance required!!!
e. Teams qualifying for TOC must have same members for at least 4 events.
If you fish 1 or 2 with different partner results do not count towards TOC If your regular
partner can not make an event you may fish alone, but only 2/4 fish will be weighed. This
weight can be applied to Total weight for TOC qualification
3) Membership:
All team members fishing the 2009 Trail are required to be members of NEBA of NH. All NEBA
of NH trail members will be given an option of joining a NEBA Club and becoming a member of
NH Bass Federation Nation. The benefits and fees for this will be provided in the Trail
registration form.
4) Tournament Payouts:
a. Trail Events: NEBA- of NH will pay out 80% of the Trail fees to 20% of the field. The
remaining 20% of fees will go towards the TOC payout. ( Ex. 30 teams pays 6 places )
b. Open Events: NEBA of NH will pay out 80% of registration fees to 20% of the field. The
remaining funds will be used to enhance TOC payouts and keep weigh-in equipment updated.
5) TOC
a. The TOC date is October 3rd & 4th The event will take place on Conway Lake.
b. There will be NO ENTRY FEE to enter the TOC. One half total trail or 15 boats maximum
will qualify for TOC.
c. Payout to be determined from participation level in Trail and Open
d. The TOC will pay 5 places with the breakdown of available moneys as follows:
1st Place 50%
2nd 20%
3rd 15%
4th 10%
5th 5%
