| President’s Message: This years NEBA of NH Trail will have 5 scheduled Trail Tournaments. Qualification for the TOC will be based on points from a teams’ best 4 events. This change will allow for a missed tournament and still give an excellent chance to qualify for the TOC. While we encourage teams to fish all our events, we recognize that participants may have scheduling conflicts on tournament dates. Teams fishing all five NEBA of NH Trail events will be allowed to drop their lowest point event. To qualify for this year’s TOC on Mascoma Lake a team must fish at least four Trail tournaments. A significant change this year is that teams can register to fish a Trail event on the day of the event. All participants must be a member of NEBA of NH to fish a Trail event. Forms can be found elsewhere on the website and will be available at the registration table at each event. Information on the NEBA of NH Trail and our other events can also be viewed elsewhere on the web site. As in past years, Trail tournaments and our Open on Winni on August 3rd will pay back a guaranteed 80% of fees to the tournament field. The remaining 20% will be paid out at the TOC. You do not need to be a NEBA of NH member to fish an Open event. There is no entry fee for the top teams making the TOC where teams can fish for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. We hope that the combination of generous payouts and sponsor prizes for fishing, boating, and other products or services will make NEBA of NH events very attractive to participants. 2008 is shaping up as an exciting year for NEBA of NH. NEBA of NH is a well organized and fun group to be associated with. We have demonstrated that fishing can be competitive and yes, still enjoyable. | Important things to know about NEBA of NH for 2008: • NEBA of NH has consistently paid out over 100% of Trail Fees to our members over the past years. ( Open profits go to TOC ) • Teams can fish any number of Trail events. • Teams can register for Trail events the day of the tournament. • NEBA of NH membership is needed for Trail events only. No membership required to fish Open tournaments. • TOC qualifiers pay no entry fee. • In addition to prize money won, the top team from the 2008 Trail gets free entry into the 2009 Trail tournaments… a $625 value. |
